PowerMedic ApS is a Danish manufacturer of therapeutic laser equipment, developed for clinicians who treat pain, soft tissue injury and recovery with light rather than drugs. Their range spans handheld and stationary PowerLaser units through to the GigaLaser, one of the largest hands-free therapeutic lasers available.
The design philosophy is consistent across the range: real laser diodes rather than LEDs alone, measurable dose at the tissue, and pulsing technology intended to deliver higher peak power without heating the skin.
Alongside the human range, PowerMedic produce VET versions of their devices, widely used in equine and small animal practice.

How PowerMedic build their lasers
Laser, not just LED
808nm laser diodes penetrate deeper into tissue than LED light alone, which is why PowerMedic devices are classed as medical lasers rather than consumer light panels.
HyperPulsed output
Pulsing allows a high peak power, up to 36,000 mW on the GigaLaser, while keeping average output and skin temperature comfortable across a full session.
Multi-wavelength heads
Combining 808nm infrared laser with 660nm red and 405nm blue LEDs treats both deep structures and superficial tissue in the same session.
